Thoughts on My LipSense Launch

DawnBlogtopus LipSense

I joined LipSense as a distributor a couple of weeks ago and had my launch party this weekend. Here are my thoughts…

I never thought of myself as someone who wanted to sell lip gloss. Sure, I have my license to practice esthetics in Massachusets, but I’ve never worked in a spa or salon. I recently discovered LipSense by Senegence – and totally love it. If you’ve never tried it, it’s a 2-part system that leaves you with smear and smudge-proof 12-hour lip color. It’s amazing.

However, it’s also fairly pricey, at $25 for the color and $20 for the gloss that goes on top. The price didn’t matter so much to me, though, because I normally can’t wear lipstick due to allergies to some of the ingredients. I can only wear vegan lipstick or my lips will get blotchy and swollen. I had never found any vegan lipstick that I really liked until I found LipSense, so when I tried it and loved it I became obsessed. I started buying up all of the colors, then I realized that if I became a distributor I could get discounts on the product! So that’s what I did.

My Party Was This Past Saturday and Sunday

I joined and ordered a boatload of LipSense, some to keep and some to sell on my Facebook group, LipSense Pixel Perfect Lips. I added friends, I added fun pictures, I put together a giveaway box full of pampering items for a free raffle. My friend Jennifer even donated a LuLaRoe Carly dress to add to the raffle. I made little ads, I posted in different groups to try and get members to join, and I ended up with about 30 members total. I was excited.

I ended up selling quite a few items to a few different people. That’s the thing with LipSense – most people don’t buy just one! You can even layer them to make different colors, it’s really fun. Check out some of the LipSense recipes that I’ve come across online at this link right here. I’m pleased with my start, this launch party was just the beginning!

Those sound cool and glad to hear your first launch party was a success. I always wanted to try vegan make-up. I tend to eat plant based mostly anyway 😀 Do you know do they sell/ship to Europe?

Thanks for reading, Lena! I’m pretty sure there are distributors all over the world. At least, I know they have them in Canada! Thanks for stopping by 🙂
